Science writer Todd McLeish will discuss some of the wildlife in his new book, Basking With Humpbacks: Tracking Threatened Marine Life in New England Waters. The book examines the natural history and environmental threats to such creatures as basking sharks, humpback whales, Atlantic wolffish, bay scallops, horseshoe crabs, and leatherback turtles. Todd will also share his first person adventures working with the biologists who are studying, monitoring and protecting these species.
In addition, we'll have our usual BAP auction and bowl show - bring a pair of your best fish! |

The Auction date has changed! Due to a situation beyond our control, we have to move the auction to March 28th from the 21st.
The auction will be open to the public, so come on down and pick up some great fish, see old friends and meet new ones. And after a two year absence, Siony Wagonblott will be once again serving up her great Filipino dishes from the kitchen!
The Auctions and Shows page has been updated to reflect the new date. An updated flyer will be posted soon has been uploaded.

After a long absence, the bowl show returns to our monthly meetings! Russ Nordgren has been kind enough to take up the role of bowl show chairperson, so on your way out to our meeting, grab your favorite fish that matches the monthly theme and have some fun! Of course, make sure you check out the current bowl show schedule, frequently asked questions and rules. |
