Please join us, this Wednesday evening, January 15, 2025, at 7:00 for this month's Tropical Fish Society of Rhode Island meeting.
Our speaker this month is shark expert Greg Skomal. His talk is called Chasing White Sharks. Greg also has a new book out: Chasing Shadows, Unraveling the Mysteries of the Great White Shark. The book is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Greg will also have a few books for sale.
Greg Skomal is the leading expert on Great White Sharks in the Atlantic. He is a senior fisheries biologist with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries and directs the Massachusetts Shark Research Program.
I recently finished his book. It is a must-read if you have any interest in Great White Sharks, fishing in New England waters or the ocean in general.
